Where would we be without Technology?
Life is impossible without the internet! Well, maybe our opinion is a bit subjective considering that our business is digital marketing.
But think about it, at least 5 years ago this phrase sounded shocking. Life is impossible without parents, friends, and relationships many would tell you. But the reality is most people can’t live without their families and whether they would want to admit to it or not, without modern technologies as well.
The world has changed, we forget about meeting up with friends to go to the theater or cinemas, we can now communicate via Facebook, Skype and mobile phone and it doesn’t look strange. In fact we can know more about the Coliseum in Rome, than a person living next to it. Modern appliances and technologies make us all-instant experts with literally a world of knowledge at our finger tips.
Many would protest about the importance of technology in their lives but if you take a closer look you would be hard pressed to find a person that doesn’t make use of it in one form or another.
It could range from doing your research and booking your next vacation online, internet banking, online weather updates, downloading music or staying in touch with loved one’s via email or Facebook.
Movie lovers don’t even notice that Box Office hits like Spider Man, Toy Story, A Bug’s Life or Godzilla wouldn’t have made it to the big screen if it wasn’t for the advancements in technology. Simple things like how your pharmacy is able to keep track of the medication they give you to various medical breakthroughs are all made possible because of technology.
So yes you might not be part of the trendsetters tweeting away on Twitter, or Mxiting it up with friends but even the ‘non-geeks’ will have to admit, technology does make our lives a lot more convenient and colorful. http://www.virtuosa.co.za

My favourite technological advance is the way we can keep in touch using the computer. Email, IP phone etc. web cams. For someone in a big family like myself, it is a godsend. I remember 20 years ago or so, when nobody was using email and family announcements took ages to circulate! It’s also a lot easier to find people on facebook and myspace that you’d lost track of. I am glad of it in a lot of respects, but hate the big brother side of things.
I was reading something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your linear perspective on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read to begin with. I am still reflecting over the various points of view, but I’m leaning to a great extent toward yours. And regardless, that’s what is so good about advanced democracy and the marketplace of thoughts online.
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

Hey, keep up the great posts! However I am having difficulties seeing the first couple words of the article, their seems to be a blank box covering them. Any suggestions?
I think that’s why I hated school so much, no challenge, the teachers’ hands were tied so I had to move on.
I am new to blogging and actually enjoyed your blog. I am going to bookmark your blog and keep checking you out. Thanks for sharing %BLOGURL%.
Greetings everyone, This website is enjoyable and so is how the matter was written about. I like some of the comments too although I would prefer we all keep it on topic in order add value to the subject. It will be also encouraging to the person who wrote it if we all could make mention of it (for many of us who have social accounts such as a delicious, twitter,..). Again, Thanks..
I am not much of a guy who thinks in so deeply about web design but I think your post had some valid points in it. Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won’t die! I agree that Amazon and other some big sites won’t have a blog but now a days it’s very important to have some sort of option available so people can quickly communicate their thoughts. I think Amazon if wants to shift it to that, they can get a customized CMS for themselves.
